Lotus Organics is a brand well-known for its pure and potent beauty and wellness products. Today, consumers are more and more aware of the harmful effects of some chemical formulations used in substitute non-organic products. Our client has been revolutionising the beauty industry with wellness solutions that are not only pure but also potent, ensuring safe and effective skincare for consumers. The Challenge

Even though Lotus is a well-known brand, it does not generate substantial organic revenue from digital sales. Customers were buying the product through paid advertising but not landing on the e-commerce website through organic search. For any business, paid advertising implies a high cost of acquiring customers, making the net profit less. Lotus Organics needed a strategy to increase its organic revenue. The brand was struggling for visibility in search results.

Our Approach

Organic revenue is a direct result of organic traffic on the website. Customers searching for beauty and wellness products online had to land on the relevant Lotus product page. In order to ensure this happens, the primary task for us was to do extensive search engine optimization for the client.

Keyword Research and Analysis

Targeting the correct keywords was one of the prime factors in improving SEO. We did an extensive research and analysis of the client’s products and webpage to identify the right keywords. Our approach, as always, is to choose purchase-oriented keywords. This ensures that customers who are actually looking to buy land on the product page.

Improving Search Engine Visibility

A key factor affecting a website’s search engine visibility is the ease with which search engines can crawl and index a website’s pages. We implemented a proper URL structure and added descriptive and unique title tags and meta descriptions to the pages. Increased visibility was evident from the higher rankings on most of our keywords as well as higher organic traffic. This also involved using Google Analytics and integrating the results to improve the website’s performance in the search results.

Website Authority and Search Engine Rankings

Website authority is a measure of its credibility and is a primary factor determining which web pages appear at the top of search results for particular queries. Therefore, to improve the website’s search engine rankings, we had to improve the website’s authority. We achieved this through extensive work on the backlink profile. In March itself, we created 724 backlinks.
