About The Client

Our client is a highly reputed cancer specialist from Gurugram with over 30 years of experience in the field of treating cancer. Being regarded as the Best Cancer Doctor in Delhi NCR, he not only excels as a medical oncologist but also as a humanitarian who has devoted his life to research, clinical trials and awareness programs on the subject.

Cancer Cure Today is an initiative by Dr. Ranga Rao Rangaraju towards spreading the word about remedies for existing cancers as well as new and upcoming variations of it.

The Challenge

The goal was to generate traffic and visibility on the website without paid advertising.

Our Approach

For websites like these, it is extremely important to implement a proper SEO strategy. Since organic traffic should ideally be the primary sources of website traffic, we aimed to implement SEO for our client’s website Cancer Cure Today.
Our first and foremost strategy was to alter the content on the website such that it could rank higher in search engine, specially Google.co.in

In today’s world, just creating backlinks does not help in achieving better ranks on Search engine and thus it is extremely important to look at other metrics when it comes to Search Engine Optimization.

Selecting the Right Keywords

One of the most important aspect of our SEO strategy was to select the right keyword mix. We included a combination of primary and long tail keywords relevant to the website, instead of selecting keywords which just had high search volumes.

Long tailed keywords are usually used by less number of websites, reducing the competition and yielding a higher conversion value. Since they are longer and more precise, they are mostly used by people searching on Google who know exactly what they need and want to see.

In virtually every case, such specific searches are far more likely to convert than generic searches that tend to be geared more towards the type of research that consumers typically do prior to making a decision.

On the other hand, just targeting long tail keywords is also not correct since the volume of traffic with these keywords is quite limited. Primary keywords are the backbone of any content on the web, long tail keywords enhance the chances of being found.

Thus, the right combination of primary and long tail keywords helped us rank better and drive more relevant traffic to CancerCureToday.

Content Seeding

Our first step was to create unique and informative content on the subject relevant to what users would search for. Once published, we seeded this content and cross promoted the the same on to relevant websites and social media channels.

Seeding on right platforms helped us reach out to the right audience and eventually helped increase our rank on Google.

Results

With our SEO efforts, we were finally able to rank our client’s website Cancer Cure Today on Rank 1 on Google.co.in one of the highly searched keyword, within a period of 6 months.
